Deciding Britain’s Place in the World at Big Tent Ideas Festival 2019

On Saturday, 31st August the British Foreign Policy Group hosted a panel discussion on ‘The Future of Britain’s Place in the World’ at Big Tent Ideas Festival, Mudchute Farm, Isle of Dogs. 

The panel explored public opinion towards Britain’s place in the world now and what it should be in the future. The panellists were Sophia Gaston, Director of the British Foreign Policy Group, the Rt. Hon Tobias Ellwood MP, and Sophia Ignatidou of Chatham House. Chaired by Asa Bennett of The Telegraph, panellists explored questions including what the government should prioritise in foreign-policy making and their opinions as to what Britain’s place in the world should be.
