British Foreign Policy Group welcomes Matt Gillow

Matt Gillow joins the British Foreign Policy Group

The British Foreign Policy Group is today delighted to welcome Matt Gillow as our new Communications and Events Manager.

Matt brings a depth of political experience to the British Foreign Policy Group. Also a Research Fellow at the Consumer Choice Center, Matt has founded and previously directed both popular liberal opinion platform 1828, and award-winning democratic reform pressure group TalkPolitics.

Previously, he worked as a Parliamentary Researcher to a Cabinet Minister, and as an Associate focusing on Government Relations at a Westminster-based think-tank.

Matt studied International Relations at Leeds University, where his focus was on populism, liberal democratic governance, and emerging powers from South Asia to South America. He has written for a number of national outlets on areas from foreign aid, to trade and human rights.

We look forward to welcoming Matt to the British Foreign Policy Group, where his focus will be on developing an exciting events programme on the key issues of the day, as well as raising the public profile of the organisation.
