Diplomatic Hour: In Conversation with the Ambassador of the Netherlands
BFPG's Diplomatic Hour featuring Mr Karel van Oosterom on Netherlands-UK relations, bilateral priorities and diplomatic engagement.
On the 15th February 2024, BFPG was delighted to be joined by His Excellency Karel van Oosterom, Ambassador of the Netherlands for a wide-ranging conversation on UK-Dutch relations. As North Sea neighbours, the UK and the Netherlands share historic ties of friendship, based on shared values and strong cooperation.
The conversation touched on a variety of themes including the opportunities for UK-Dutch engagement, the importance of collaboration in addressing major global challenges including the war in Ukraine and supporting NATO, how best to approach China, economic interdependence and the UN Security Council.
