London Diplomatic Corps Briefing 2026 Annual Survey of Public Opinion

Now in its eighth year, the Annual Survey is BFPG's flagship research project, tracking how British public attitudes towards the UK's global role, its key international relationships, and its foreign and security policy priorities have evolved since 2019. This year's findings offer a timely and striking picture of how Britons view the world, including shifting trust in the UK's traditional allies, attitudes towards national security and defence spending, and a widening generational divide in outlook.

These sessions were attended by over 40 of London's Foreign Embassies and High Commissions, offering the opportunity for the diplomatic corps to engage with the findings and ask questions directly to BFPG's research team.
