Director of the British Foreign Policy Group, Sophia Gaston, spoke to the New York Times on President Donald Trump’s extraordinary, telephone call to state officials in Georgia seeking to overturn the election results there.

Sophia said: "The President desperate efforts to interfere with the election results and subvert democracy are now almost universally regarded in Westminster as a pitiful last howl at the moon."
