On Thursday, 9th January 2020, the British Foreign Policy Group hosted a panel discussion on ‘Resetting UK-EU Relations After Brexit’. Chaired by Sophia Gaston, the panel brought together Peter Foster, Europe Editor at The Telegraph; Georgina Wright, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Government; Matthew O’Toole, former No 10 Brexit Spokesperson and political commentator on Ireland and Northern Ireland and Alberto Nardellio, Europe Editor at Buzzfeed.

The lively conversation covered the state of UK-EU relations and how they will progress in the year of trade negotiations, the UK’s transition to ‘third country’ status, and the triangle of UK-EU-US relations.
