13 Mar BISA/BFPG Undergraduate Network Launch: Scotland’s role in foreign policy
BFPG were proud to help launch the BISA/BFPG Undergraduate Network, connecting undergraduates across the UK with a shared interest in foreign policy and international relations.
The launch event on Scotland’s role in foreign policy hosted at the University of Edinburgh, was a fantastic evening. Scotland has long played a distinctive and influential role on the international stage, shaped by its history, values, and global connections. The event explored how Scotland contributes to foreign policy today – from diplomacy and trade to climate leadership and cultural influence – and consider what its future role in an evolving world might look like.
Our Director, Evie Aspinall, spoke on public opinion on foreign policy in Scotland, sparking some great conversation and debate.
Other speakers included:
Adam Al-kateb (MSP Candidate for the Scottish Green Party)
Anthony Salamone (Managing Director of European Merchants)
Beccie White (BISA-BFPG Undergraduate Network Chair)
You can sign up to the network, or find out more, here.
